If you submit your articles to be displayed only (meaning you don't get paid upfront), then you can submit content which you have previously submitted to other websites.
If you have your own website then making money with this great writing platform is not your only goal, because you can use these articles to link back to your main website, thus increasing your traffic, and building back links.
Within your profile page you can link up to 3 different websites. So the more people you can get coming to your profile, the more traffic you will be able generate for your other websites.
