Making Money With Google Adsense
Google Adsense is a great way to monetize your website. All you do is create quality content, create some traffic, put up some Google ads, and start making money. Google will place ads on your site relevant to your content. Every time someone clicks on these ads you make money.

It may sound easy…and for some it might be, but it took me about six months before I saw my first $100.00 check from Google. There may be those who might achieve faster results, but in most cases it can take a year if not a couple of years before seeing a steady stream of Adsense income. It all depends on the amount of traffic you get to your site.

Creating quality content will help to increase the amount of traffic, because others will link to it, and so you will get traffic from all the different sites that link to you.

Before applying for the Google Adsense program you should have your site up and running and a steady stream of traffic. Otherwise your site might be rejected, so it is well worth the wait.

You can sign up for Google Adsense here, it is a free program to join. After signing up you will have to wait to be approved as they go over the information of each applicant.

While you are waiting for approval you should read the terms and conditions. It is crucial that you abide by these rules at all times. Failure to abide by them will result in permanent termination of your Google Adsense account.

A big No-No which will result in termination of your account is clicking on your own ads. Google monitors all activity on your site and if they see too many clicks coming from one IP address, they will either ignore those clicks or terminate the account.

Another biggy is the amount of units you are allowed to place on your site, which is up to three ad units on one page. You can customize the size and the colors of the ads to match your site.
